CONTINENTAL AIRLINES TO UPGRADE SERVICE AT GULFPORT-BILOXI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT Gulfport-Biloxi, Miss., June 22, 2005 - The Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport will offer customers additional travel options effective Sept. 1, 2005, when Continental Airlines upgrades one of their four 50-seat regional jet flights with the 112-seat Boeing 737-500 aircraft. Continental Airlines and Continental Express offer five daily non-stop flights from Gulfport-Biloxi to Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport. Of the five daily flights operated by Continental Airlines and Continental Express, two of the flights will be operated with the 112-seat 737-500 and three flights operated with the 50-seat Embraer regional jet. "We are excited that the additional 737-500 service will increase daily seat availability by 62 seats. It is clear that Continental Airlines and Continental Express are committed to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The Airport Authority is certain that we will exceed expectations," said Frank Genzer, Airport Authority Chairman.
