School Group Tours

GPT offers tours of the terminal facility for groups of all ages.  Children can learn the whole process of navigating through the terminal to board their flight and adults can view changes made since the terminal expansion and behind-the-scenes security measures.  For more information and to arrange a tour, please contact Ashley Duke at 228-863-5951 ext. 3036.

GPT Blood Drive

GPT began holding blood drives in 2009 to support the American Red Cross and to help ease blood supply shortages.  Blood drives are held on the bloodmobile at the south end of the terminal in the delivery parking area, and parking is complimentary while donating.  Donors must register first inside the terminal by baggage claim.

Improving the Community

On July 19, 2006, Gulfport-Biloxi Regional Airport Authority partnered with W. D. Schock, Inc. to kick off implementation of its Part 150 Noise Compatibility Program. Under this program homes that qualify are eligible to participate in 1 of 3 programs based on their location in the airport noise contours. These programs include:

• Residential Sound Insulation – Replacement of windows, doors and attic insulation.
• Easement Acquisition – A onetime payment of $3000.00
• Acquisition and Relocation – A voluntary acquisition of property and relocation of its occupants.

Since this program began, 477 homeowners have received new doors, windows, HVAC and insulation Another 234 others have participated in the Easement Acquisition program and 9 properties have been acquired. For more information, contact Tom Grier, 228-575-3444.
